WeightFight ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the WeightFight mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use WeightFight:

Account information: Email address, username, display name, and password (encrypted).
Profile information: Profile photo, bio, gender, age, height, weight, and fitness goals (optional).
Workout data: Exercises performed, sets, reps, weights, workout duration, and rest times.
Body measurements: Weigh-in records with optional proof photos.
Social data: Posts, comments, likes, follows, group memberships, and direct messages.
Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version (for support tickets).
Photos: Workout selfies and progress photos that you choose to upload.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and improve the App's core functionality (workout logging, progress tracking).
Power the AI Coach with personalized training and nutrition advice.
Enable social features (following, comments, groups, rivalries).
Generate weekly training reports and analytics.
Send push notifications (workout reminders, social interactions).
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Respond to support requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with:

All data encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data.
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only in these cases:

Social features: Your public profile, posts, and workouts are visible to your followers (based on your privacy settings).
AI Coach: Your training data is sent to Google's Gemini AI to generate personalized advice. This data is not stored by Google.
Payment processing: In-app purchases are handled by Google Play / Apple App Store. We do not store your payment details.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: View all data we have about you.
Correct: Update your profile and personal information at any time.
Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Export: Request a copy of your data.
Privacy controls: Set your profile to private, hide your following list, and control workout visibility.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated statistics may be retained.

7. Children's Privacy

WeightFight is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The App does not use cookies or third-party tracking/analytics services. We do not display advertisements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
